Performs project management responsibilities relating to IT implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. May also provides analytical support for IT projects. Develops and revises project materials and maintains project documentation. Defines and evaluates problems and plans effective solutions. Recommends improvements in project deliverables. Assists in defining the scope and impact of projects and effectively communicates the impact on the organization. Establishes project tasks, timelines and budgets and effectively manages them. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Capital Markets.



**Responsibilities:**



This role is NOT myWork eligible.



Work with business partners who are in the modeling and quantitative finance teams to understand needs and identify solutions in a fast-paced environment. Provide the leadership to drive out execution. Work closely with key business SMEs, development and testing teams across the organization to produce agreed business requirements to deliver their required technical and operational changes. Responsible for estimating work and ensuring JIRA (change request system) is updated in a timely fashion. Collaborate with testing support team to ensure full understanding of change and full complement of testing is performed. Will also support business partners during User Acceptance Testing phases. Ensure adherence to standard project management processes, and also drive for similar with business partner teams. Responsible for maintaining Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specifications in-line with requirements from business SMEs and BAs. Partnering with project managers to ensure that governance policy is adhered to across the portfolio in accordance with stated standards and processes. Independent assessment of project / program business cases and sign-off. Ensure ongoing communication of project governance to all stakeholders. Ability to manage up and down the technology chain, as well as working with business partners from multiple disciplines with differing priorities across multiple, global locations. In depth knowledge delivering within both a Waterfall and Agile development environment.



**Enterprise Position Overview:**



Applies technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs. May manage projects including responsibility for a project and project budget. Works under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects requiring creative



solutions. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for Employees supporting Global Markets



**Required Skills:**



Ability to read and write complex SQL / Python to perform data and business process analysis



Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail, logical approach to problems



8+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to risk management, trading, or other key functions in the banking transaction lifecycle



Knowledge in Basel Regulatory rules



Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail, logical approach to problems, ability to empathize with clients and leverage technology to deliver high quality timely solutions with a high degree of predictability



Good verbal communication



Ability to handle pressure/conflict



Extensive experience in managing a service oriented organization to meet the diverse requirements of multiple stakeholders



Team player; Self-motivated and self-managed



Proven ability to operate within the global environment operating from multiple locations and time zones



Relationship management and networking skills



Business case appraisal skills



Planning, time management and resource management skills



**Desired Skills:**



Preferred academic background would be an MBA in finance, CFA, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science / Financial or any other engineering
