Partner Enablement Manager - Collaboration

What Youll Do

In this role you will play an important part in enabling the evolution of Cisco Managed Services and the migration to a partner led got to market for services that help our customers realize the Cisco Promise. This Partner Enablement Manager will ensure that partners have the knowledge and tools they need to position specific offers to customers to meet identified business outcomes. You will be a subject matter authority on the managed services you cover, able to transfer your knowledge to partner sellers to reach scale and be a point of escalation and review for solution design.

  • Lead the communication of, and excitement for, the capabilities of the service(s). Deliver training to internal and partner audiences to ensure a good understanding of the offer and how to position and sell it.
  • Participate in the creation of collateral to be used by sales, training and enablement teams.
  • Contribute input into the design (and improvement) of the service based on your technical understanding of the role and the input you receive from the field (partner, customers and sales).
  • Support sales process workflow refinement and documentation.
  • Support metrics and reporting of sales activities in partnership with operations and offer management.
  • Act as a point of escalation for partners during sales engagement processes (validate design and facilitate answers on service capability).

Who Youll Work With

You will work closely with key stakeholders in Cisco Managed Services and CX (Product Managers, Business Development and enablement) as well as the global and regional partner organizations and sales. In this role, you will enable Cisco partner account managers and Partner sales teams to position a solution to address the challenges that your service offers address. Your success is tied to partner success and increased sales for your focused offers.

Desired skills

  • 3+ years of experience working in a collaboration technology/services related role
  • 5+ years of experience as in services sales engineer/solution architect/business development with or for partners
  • Experience in Managed Services and ITIL certification preferred
  • Thorough understanding of Cisco Collaboration products and the collaboration market
  • Experience working with channel partners and appreciation for their role in Ciscos success
  • CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience, Collaboration specialization would be a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to met with partners and deliver training and workshops
