Functional Description: Graduate Students hired as a Supply Chain Planner will join PBNA Sector Supply Chains Planning team and provide graduate-level expertise in a variety of disciplines, including Contract Manufacturing, Tactical Capacity Planning, Materials Requirement Planning, ERP & Systems Capability, Network Strategy, Supply & Demand Planning. Planning roles on these teams develop data-driven forecasts for Supply, Demand, or Production by leveraging statistical models and planning tools to guide decision-making, to deliver world-class customer service. Candidates will leverage prior professional and recent academic experience to analyze and solve complex, real-world supply chain problems. What you can expect: Utilize available tools to provide accurate and timely plans for supported Divisions, sites, or brands Monitor inventory levels over near-, mid-, and long-term time horizons Devise solutions to meet production needs, innovation agendas, and budget constraints Monitor forecast accuracy and improve metrics to bridge gaps between forecast and actuals Adjust forecasts as necessary to include updated business intelligence Perform period forecast reconciliations to provide accurate longer-term growth rate forecasts Direct junior Planners and Analysts in assimilation and uptake of data to provide accurate plans Support annual budgeting (AOP) efforts Develop as Subject Matter Expert in tools, reporting and business processes through in-depth understanding of stakeholder needs and proven forecasting skills Provide training and coaching for functional planners to drive improved results Lead and support initiatives or projects for continuous improvement of forecasting tools, reporting, or business processes Work cross functionally to develop executable action plans, that balance cost and service priorities. Inform senior leaders with data-driven insights for use in development of strategic service plans What were looking for: Currently pursuing a graduate degree in: Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Analytics, or Engineering (other related majors will be considered) Experience leading teams and prioritizing/directing workload Experience presenting complex concepts and data to senior leaders Superior strategic, analytical mindset Ability to influence decision-makers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exposure to or functional competence in SAP and Tableau strongly preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to: Must hold a masters degree prior to the start date Bachelors degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering disciplines This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
