What You'll Do

This is an Account Manager role, you will be responsible for direct ownership of Ciscos various technologies in these Select Accounts. You will be managing the customer relationship as well as insertions on Select large manufacturing customers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  1. To articulate and develop manufacturing based strategy in the account.
  2. To build strong relationships with the client at all C levels. You should be able to create strong business relations between Cisco and the account stakeholders.
  3. To lead the revenue streams from Select Account by engaging and collaborating across various Cisco architecture teams.
  4. To connect with plant heads and LOBs to be their trusted adviser and sell the IOT based solution.
  5. Develop a long term 1-3 year Account/Business Plan in collaboration with cross functional teams to align with the customers long term growth, innovation plans and transformational business opportunities. Drive the execution of a 12 month Business plan to meet set breakthroughs and goals.
  6. Act as primary focal point for the Account.
  7. Achieve order intake targets for the Account portfolio under management.
  8. Business reporting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, pipeline development).
  9. Ensures the desired position and market share, as set in the objectives, are achieved through the use of consistent messages in every aspect of the Account relationship and development on all appropriate levels.

 

Business insight development

  1. Develops an insightful view of the overall business landscape for Customer business drivers.
  2. Possesses deep understanding in Manufacturing sector value selling, complex technical sales engagements and take action accordingly to ensure segment success.

Who You Are

  1. Minimum 10+ years of work experience in sales & large account/regional account management.
  2. Expert at selling to manufacturing based customers.
  3. Expert in articulating Cisco IOT based value sell to manufacturing plant heads and LOBs.
  4. Keen in identifying and being accountable for the appropriate resources (internal and external) required to develop and execute major solution strategic initiatives.
  5. Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business units at Cisco, partners and solution teams in complex business engagements to use multiple IT domains in creating vertical/segment specific solutions for our customers.
  6. Responsible for managing large enterprise account and achievement of sales target across all Cisco Architectures
  7. Proven track record in achieving direct sales targets and experience in carrying multi-million dollar sale quotas.
  8. Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles is preferred
  9. Demonstrated experience with solution selling of Business and IT solutions is highly desired.
  10. We are looking for self-starters, strong negotiation skills with multi-tasking abilities.
