Account Service Manager

Account Service Managers are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client. Sound pretty important? Absolutely! You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client's IT operation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for Account service management

- Handle onsite service of Power/Storage/SAN for client

- Develop IBM Business portion in Client

- Maintain close relationship with customers

- Cover territory account and win Customer SAT.

- Service business development and service contract negotiation

Technical Skill:

Major requirement

1. Infrastructure knowledge preferred (IBM/non-IBM products, open platform from system level to middleware level)

2. Service experience for Banking Client is required


1) Ability to design Open Source Services (Linux, Openstack, Hardoop)

2) Ability to design infrastructure based on IBM or non-IBM product.

3) Ability to size the labor amount (man-month based), make detailed breakdown (WBS) for infra design, implementation (construction) and maintenance

4) Familiar with banking application structure. Have the basic knowledge to size H/W and S/W in infra design phase. Have the basic knowledge to co-work with application development vendor in infra design phase

5) Good documentation skill, Excel (Quotation, WBS, resource plan), PPT(Proposal) skill

6) Basic knowledge and architect view for the following products:

- Cloud/BigData

- IBM power Series server

- OS and high availability software (AIX, AS/400, HACMP, Mimix)

- IBM/EMC/HDS/Netapp storage

- DB2/Oracle

- Linux/Windows/Vmware

Soft Skill:

- 7 years working experience

- Experience to manage and execute infra design / implementation / maintenance project,

- Strong communication skill, to handle stakeholders from different parties in multi-culture working environment.

- Project plan and delivery skill preferred. PMP preferred

- Experience in IBM is preferable.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree, with relevant experience in IBM Mainframe mainframe is preferred;
2. More than 5 years of work experience; can lead the team's colleagues to complete the service work of enterprise-level customers;
3. Ability to solve difficult and complex problems independently;
4. Have good reading and writing skills in both Chinese and English;
5. Familiar with the maintenance of Mainframe mainframe and zOS operation and system management;
6. Familiar with the installation, customization, and evaluation of the zOS operating system;
7. Priorities with storage and network implementation experience;
8. Be enthusiastic about work and have good learning ability and teamwork spirit;
9. Appropriate overtime work can be accepted.
