As an Accounts Receivable Specialist with Rapid Response Monitoring Systems, you will be a vital part of our accounting team. You will process payments that we receive through the mail, over the phone, or via ACH. You will post the payments to customer accounts and keep track of customers who are past due. When a customer is late with a payment, according to a predetermined schedule, you will call or email them to notify them of their past due balance and potentially work out a payment plan. This allows us to collect our funds and also to help out customers who may be in a brief financial difficulty or assist those who simply forgot or made an error.

To thrive in this role, you must be extremely friendly and detail oriented: friendly enough to work with customers to set up a payment plan, detailed enough to follow up and make sure the customer sticks with it. You must be interested in continuing to develop yourself, seeking out new skills and applying them to your work here, and have an eye toward growing here for the long term. This is an entry level position but it can be an excellent opportunity for someone to move up within the company.

  • In a year, how will I know I'm successful? You'll have learned so much that you're able to work independently. You are confident in your work and feel like you are a part of a team.   • What type of experience matches up to this job? We're looking more for customer service experience and a positive attitude than strictly an accounting background. If you are a quick learner and pick up new programs quickly, we can train you on accounts receivable. It's more important that you be professional, cordial, upbeat, work well on a team, and be comfortable asking our customers for payments. You will be calling people with late bills. Not everyone is happy to hear from you, but you must remain professional and helpful at all times.
  • What software do you use? We use proprietary software as well as Microsoft Office Suite. We don't expect you to know our system, obviously, but you do need basic knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • What's the team like? Our team is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. There's no your work or my work. Everything is the team's job, and we work together to get it done. COVID-19 Requirements

  • Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
  • Booster shot is required 2 months after Johnson & Johnson or 5 months after second dose of Pfizer/Moderna
