A typical branch office has one financial advisor who meets with clients face-to-face and one branch office administrator who enhances the team's ability to build deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.
We are looking for a talented individual to join the Finance Division and lend support to multiple leaders/managers in the division

Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of multiple departments and/or individuals. Specific responsibilities may include:
* Prepare correspondence and presentations using computer skills. Draft simple letters and memos. Prepare Power Point presentations.
* Manage email inboxes and individual(s) daily schedules
* Handle phone calls and route calls to appropriate associates or departments to handle information requests.
* Make copies and send and distribute mail.
* Make travel arrangements
* Schedule and coordinate department calendar including scheduling and making meeting arrangements.
* Maintain department files.
* Order supplies and ensure that all office equipment is functioning.
* Process payment of invoices and travel and business expense reports.
* Handle projects as assigned.
* Maintain spreadsheets and prepare reports.

* Problem solving skills needed to research where to obtain needed information and how to maintain and improve procedures and processes to gain efficiencies.

* Decisions are usually routine and are focused on setting work priorities and handling requests for information.

* Works under general supervision, making decisions concerning own work.
* May help train, mentor, coach newer administrative assistants.

However, this role has traditionally been located on-site in a home office location and may be required to return to that location at some point in the future. Edward Jones is continually evaluating our flexible work arrangements for all of our positions, including this one.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must have experience with setting up Zoom meetings and breakout sessions.
* Must have skills in using computerized office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, Sharepoint, OneNote, and the internet.
* Secretarial training preferred.
* One to three years of related experience.
* Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks.
* Self motivation and ability to work independently.
* Must have good verbal communication skills and customer service orientation to handle internal and external contacts.
* Must have skills in using computerized office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, Sharepoint, OneNote, and the internet.
