Your Role and Responsibilities

Who you are: As an AIX Development Support Specialist, you are responsible to resolver customer reported issues, do advanced problem-determination (Root cause analysis), publish technical notes and to give technical support for world-wide IBM Power Server customers. You will be working in the AIX Operating system environment under Development Support Organization (DSO). The development support professional will assist with problem diagnosis and root cause analysis down to the line of code of AIX operating system utilizing various pSeries hardware systems. What youll do: You will perform advanced problem-determination and provide technical support for world-wide customers. You will be remote interface to provide solutions to the customer reported issues. You will also work with AIX Development team on issues that result in code bug. You are responsible for problem diagnosis down to the line of source code for AIX software and provide solutions to customers utilizing various pSeries hardware systems. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1 3 years of relevant industry experience
• 1 to 3 + years of experience in IT, AIX/LINUX/UNIX OS skills, Virtualization skills,
• 1+ year of hands on development experience in C
• 1+ year of experience working with cloud based applications
• 1+ year of troubleshooting network communication issues
• Proven communication skills
• The ability to work proactively and efficiently
• The ability to manage and solve complex technical problems
