A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. Youll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwCs brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.Our Business Development team supports PwC and its clients by developing sales strategies, executing tactics, and securing the resources required to close sales opportunities. As part of the team, youll be managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, helping the account team in identifying, qualifying and closing sales leads, and coordinating the utilisation of all account management methodology and business development tools.

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, preferably in a professional services firm, in the following areas:

  • Understanding of direct Alliance and technology consulting sales efforts;
  • Understanding of the sales and marketing profession, including competitor strategies and managing others to accomplish key objectives;
  • Developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for the firms Alliances while working with each Alliance Leadership Team to increase pipeline and sales;
  • Identifying specific client business issues, including understanding of relevant companies strategies, buying habits, executives and competitors;
  • Understanding the different competitive positioning strategies and knowing how to apply each to influence brand positioning, including the analyzing of current business position, and compiling, forecasting and articulating business financials;
  • Leading strategic conversations with business partners, engaging sales professionals and the broader Marketing and Sales organization to drive relationships and increase greater pipelines;
  • Understanding the sales process, especially influencing buying decisions through marketing activities and strategic messaging in proposals;
  • Managing overall budgets against conflicting demands;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the highest levels of leadership, with proven ability to communicate, including effectively managing through a matrix organization to drive sales results;
  • Understanding of a sales methodology while promoting the proper usage and adoption of both CRM tools and services, as well as embracing and demonstrating leadership of other nationally-developed tools and services which improves Alliance productivity and impact;
  • Driving focus on client interaction, including working with Alliance teams to develop their pursuit plans and in building long-term recurring and phased revenue streams;
  • Creating a culture whereby leaders and staff in the firm embed winning practices into their ongoing relationship management and business development approaches;
  • Leading, managing, coaching and developing sales professionals tasked with the day-to-day execution of the strategies;
  • Utilizing sales cycle methodology, account and relationship development methodology, and driving a business development culture;
  • Understanding of a Sales function to address a wide array of functional areas to help conceptualize;
  • Leading and building consensus around innovative initiatives/activities aligned to support strategy and business development objectives and an understanding of effective integration with Marketing as well;
  • Leading a sales team and being a strategic business partner, with emphasis on leading strategies and driving project management and execution and influencing others;
  • Leveraging technology in sales efforts and across teams; and,
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while leveraging a complex, matrixed organizational structure and establishing priorities serving a diverse stakeholder group.
