Better requires process discipline and simplification

Well be looking to you to support the financial crimes filtering activity within the AML Compliance department. You will manage a team responsible for using filters to identify individuals trying to use Western Union services who have committed financial crimes. Youll use established filters and assist in designing the program for filtering risk. You will monitor the proprietary screening system and make decisions on complex issues. Youll work cross-functionally and maintain relationships with those teams in order to achieve designing functional requirements.

For such a detail-oriented role, youll have 5 years of experience working with financial crimes and leading a team. You will understand payment services compliance issues related to anti-money laundering and related laws/regulations. Youll be able to manage a team of individuals with varying levels of expertise and knowledge. You will build strong relationships and manage both external and internal stakeholders expectations. You will be organized and be able to stack rank priorities. Youll have experience with Microsoft Suite and risk filtering software such as FircoSoft. You will have project management experience and the ability to handle complex problem-solving and decision-making situations.

The annual gross base salary range is $81,813.04 $144,116.36. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident, and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
