**ROLE SUMMARY**

Pfizer CentreOne (PC1) is a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) embedded within Pfizer generating $800M+ in revenue. We leverage Pfizer manufacturing plants as well as science and technology resources to manufacture medicine for biopharmaceutical companies. We focus on custom API synthesis, sterile injectable fill-finish and highly potent oral solid dose; and are a leading supplier of steroid and hormone APIs and intermediates. For over 50 years, we have manufactured complex compounds for our biopharmaceutical partners. Pfizer CentreOne is a commercial business within Pfizer's Biopharmaceutical Group.



Reporting to the API Business Lead, the API & Intermediates Regional Sales Lead is responsible for driving new business, while maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important companies in the region.



The API & Intermediates Region Sales Lead will have broad B2B sales experience within the fine chemical or active pharmaceutical ingredients industries. They will also have a demonstrated track record of growing their portfolio of business through a variety of methods.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Define Regional Account objectives in order to achieve assigned revenue and profitability growth targets set by the API Business Lead

+ Interact regularly with contacts in regional accounts from the C-suite to the management ranks to identify new business opportunities

+ Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key decision makers in assigned regional accounts

+ Negotiate multi-product master supply agreements (MSA) with assigned regional accounts

+ Proactively assess, clarify, and validate regional account needs through routine business reviews; coordinate the involvement of colleagues, including operations, customer service, and management, in order to clearly understand and meet regional account performance objectives and expectations

+ Build an excellent reputation for service with their key accounts; develop new and fresh strategies to respond to supply concerns and work closely with colleagues to ensure high customer satisfaction ratings and prompt problem resolution

+ Participate in annual long range planning, annual operating plan and near-term demand/financial forecasting

+ Must demonstrate high attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy in the team's Customer Relationship Management workspace (Sales Force)

+ Prioritize daily activities based on the strategic value to the business and customer experience



**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with at least 2 years selling business-to-business or negotiating with suppliers within APAC market

+ Proven track record of strong executive relationship building and direct experience in biopharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Business-to-Business (B2B)

+ Familiar with a variety of sales methodologies and negotiating tactics

+ Ability to establish and negotiate complex strategic contracts is required

+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated result-orientation, tenacity and follow-through

+ Ability to be successful in a matrixed environment with a high degree of flexibility; collaborate well with Manufacturing, Research & Development, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs functions to accomplish business objectives

+ Must have a proven track record of being effective at self-management and driving results

+ Financial and business acumen

+ Experience with project management principles and customer relationship management software



**Education:**



+ At least BA/BS in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business or a related technical discipline



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ MBA or advanced technical degree is strongly preferred

+ P&L experience is strongly preferred
