About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity where you will get a chance to work in a fast-growing startup and learn new technologies. As a customer support engineer, you will be responsible to provide the advanced technical support and solve the complex problems in customer environments.
Provide basic technical support via email, phone, or other media to our customers in Japanese
Answer their questions regarding product usage or features, and resolve problems reported by customers in a timely manner
Create mock applications based on Java / J2EE and try our product to understand the customer situation better.
About You
As AppDynamics provides the monitoring solution to various technology stack, we require you to have the wide and basic computer science knowledge and be an eager learner.
Hands on experience in Object Oriented software development in any type of languages
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience in Java programming with the exposure to J2EE frameworks like Struts, Servlets, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, Coherence (or other Caching frameworks)
Strong Linux or Windows background
Working knowledge of Application servers like Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss, and Jetty
Experience of JDBC and familiarity with RDBMS server (at least one of Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, Percona, PostgreSQL)
Excellent communication skills
Language: Japanese native/Fluent, English: business level
Working experience of technical support
Highly self-motivated to challenge learning new technology.
