    About the Role

    We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity where you will get a chance to work in a fast-growing startup and learn new technologies. As a customer support engineer, you will be responsible to provide the advanced technical support and solve the complex problems in customer environments. 

    • Provide technical support to our customers in both Japanese and English
    • Answer their questions regarding product usage or features, and resolve problems reported by customers in a timely manner with technical expertise
    • Create mock applications to reproduce customer issues to understand complicated issue cause.

    About You

    As AppDynamics provides the monitoring solution to various technology stack, we require you to have wide and basic computer science knowledge and be an eager learner.
    Minimum qualifications:

    • Experience in Object Oriented software development in any type of languages
    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
    • Experience in Java programming with the exposure to J2EE frameworks like Struts, Servlets, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, Coherence (or other Caching frameworks)
    • Strong Linux or Windows background
    • Language: Japanese native/Fluent, English: business level
    • Highly self-motivated to challenge learning new technology

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Working experience of technical support
    • Working knowledge of application servers like Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss, and Jetty
    • Experience of JDBC and familiarity with RDBMS server
