The Role

AppDynamics is looking for Territory Account Manager who strives to push boundaries of their personal and professional development. Evolving at a rapid pace, AppDynamics is solving bigger and more complex problems for our customers thus require an experienced high performer with a thirst for action and an appetite for massive earnings.

The mission for this role is to manage key enterprise accounts with a focus on creating value for our customers by working collaboratively and inclusively with Cisco & our partners with the aim of driving long term strategic relationships while achieving corporate goals and objectives.

The outcomes of this role is to:

  • Grow AppDynamics market share through the acquisition of new business in the assigned territory
  • Expand revenue in existing accounts by leveraging the eco-system of our partners to solve our customers business problems
  • Retain revenue in nominated accounts through the ongoing demonstration of value

You will achieve this by

       Articulating and managing AppDynamics value based sales process to present the business value of our full product suite to decision makers.

       Developing and managing relationships within enterprise organizations, presenting to C-level executives the value of our platform.

       Developing and maintaining relationships with our strategic partners.

       By collaborating for greater outcomes and being radically inclusive in your work ethic and style because you understand the power in collective problem solving.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience evangelizing technology, with a focus on SaaS and disruptive cloud technologies. 
  • Consistent track record of over-achievement; net new logo accomplishments; and keen understanding of how to leverage partner relationships. 
  • You have significant experience with MEDDIC as a leading indicator driven sales processes (highly preferred).
  • You demonstrate a true value based sales approach and have experience explaining complex ROI models to C level customers.
  • Youre a pipeline generation master, expert in driving direct sales from first touch to close.
  • Youre ready to think differently, learn, and embrace new methodologies
  • You constantly look for solutions to problems, and how to solve business pains.
  • Youre a natural champion builder and go the extra mile to add real value.
  • Youre an entrepreneur - you run your patch like a business and know that owning your own pipeline generation is fundamental to your success.
  • You dont cut corners, even with SFDC hygiene

Your Path to Success:

  • You will take ownership of an assigned territory focused on net new logo and upsell opportunities, while leveraging the greater Cisco ecosystem. 
  • You will demonstrate expertise in building business cases which clearly show value and differentiation at all levels of your customer organizations including C-level executives. 
  • You will constantly generate pipeline using creative techniques, tools, team collaboration, industry events and top tier channel partners. 
  • You will close deals through world-class planning and preparation, developing and cultivating relationships with enterprise organizations, as well as be consultative in your approach to solving complex real business problems.
