As the Associate Account Manager Client Service, you are joining an elite team within OptumRx Client Management. You are responsible for the PBM operational management of Government Programs customers; focusing on Medicare, Medicaid and Exchange, in coordination with Strategic Account Executives. You will collaborate with multiple layers of management to ensure service delivery is accurate and ensure responses are completed on time and within scope. Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs. The Implementation Manager with the Pharmacy Benefit will seek your support on all readiness activities. You will also oversee all PBM operational functions pertaining to day-to-day management of the customer. You will also provide leadership and support to the Client Service Team in the management of member and customer-specific escalated issues and / or service concerns. You will act as SME for Pharmacy Benefit design, products, and programs. This position requires prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment. We welcome an investigative personality who is interested in finding answers. You will also manage ongoing contractual relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts. Finally, you will act as client-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generally, work is self - directed and not prescribed
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Line of businesses issue management
  • Understand and manage contract specific terms
  • Accountable for client retention and satisfaction
  • Government Programs (Medicare, Healthcare Exchange, Medicaid) line of businesses issue management
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 3+ years of PBM experience, or equivalent experience in technical, financial, or insurance related account management
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Excel (ability to analyze reports and ability to review large amounts of data)
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (US based travel)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in office (Philadelphia)
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Any project management or Six Sigma certification(s)
  • Rx Claim experience
