Prudentials Long-Term Care (LTC) business includes both individual and group products. The position will be an integral part of the LTC valuation team responsible for financial reporting, liability projection, and support for projects including a valuation model conversion and the implementation of GAAP Long Duration Targeted Improvements. Responsibilities include:


- Provide leadership for monthly and quarterly GAAP, statutory, and tax reserve production processes


- Designing and overseeing execution of controls to support production and model change management processes


- Working with internal data management, assumption development, analytics, model governance, and model development teams, as well as external vendors, to implement valuation model changes


- Identifying and implementing process improvements for the valuation team


- Supporting external requests (experience studies, pricing, audit, finance, corporate actuarial, etc.)









- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent

- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), or ASA actively working toward fellowship

- Five or more years of actuarial experience, with at least 2 years of relevant valuation or LTC experience

- Proficiency with actuarial valuation software (PolySystems, GGY AXIS, or similar)

- SQL proficiency and programming experience

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Demonstrated experience as a key member of cross-functional teams

- Prior leadership experience
