This role focuses on driving medium-to long term improvements. Functions of the role include generating vendor data analysis, driving Supplier On-time and Fill Rate performance, processing monthly vendor scorecard and chargebacks, creating process documentation, administrative tasks, participating in webinars, handling escalations and building relationships with Carriers, Suppliers, cross-functional partners and other key stakeholders from Walmart. The Walmart eCommerce Supply Chain team is responsible for driving the experience for Walmart.com customers and the Supply Chain team collaborates with suppliers, carriers, and other key internal stakeholders in improving overall Supply Chain for Walmart.com. The successful candidate will be an individual who can identify and support strategic improvement initiatives for In Stock and Fill Rate performance, while being able to dive deep into areas of opportunity and develop solutions and processes towards improvements. This associate will work cross-functionally with multiple technical and operational teams within the Walmart.com Supply Chain organization. Superior analytics and process improvement skills are necessary. The Supply Chain Associate Analyst will be required to be proactive and continuously drive supplier improvements and performance. This individual will also need to have superior communication skills, both verbal and written. The Supply Chain Associate Analyst will spend 50% of their time on analytical, technical projects. 50% of their time will be spent leveraging soft skills for presentations and for communicating effectively with suppliers and cross-functional partners.City:SAN BRUNOState:CAPosition Description: + Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Walmart.com operational data analysis and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans + Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity + Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions + Solves complex operational and financial problems/issues + Supports and executes complex and multi-variable recurring and ad-hoc requests for data or data set-up Minimum Qualifications:Educational Level: Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or STEM related fields Experience: Required experience: 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, vendor compliance, or in a business analyst capacity. Preferred experience: 2+ years of data management experience, including query development, root-cause analysis, and dashboard optimization Physical Requirements: Minimal travel required.Additional Preferred Qualifications:1) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Functional Competencies: Required mastered skills: Advanced MS-Excel, Advanced SQL and database mining knowledge. Preferred skills: VBA; Tableau; KNIME; Alteryx Manages multiple projects at once while ensuring deadlines are met and data output is accurate Ability to automate processes by either using macro skills or KNIME Drive automation of daily tasks Ensures integrity and efficiency of reports and data. Proven experience leading data driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution stages. Interpersonal Competencies: Capacity to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology Effective communication skills to reach multiple levels of the organization, including senior management and cross-functional groups Strong written and verbal skills Ability to present confidently in front of a large audience both in person and through webinars Leadership Competencies: Ability to champion ideas and influence the organization to ensure ideas are executed, especially in scenarios where direct authority is absent.
