Prudential Financial is seeking an Associate Manager to join the newly formed Marketing Analytics Center of Excellence that is part of Prudentials Chief Marketing Office (CMO). This means you work with cross-functional teams across marketing and the business to create better experiences for all parties that Prudential does business with.

In this role, you will be involved with marketing strategy from beginning to end, giving you opportunities to develop your skill set, stretch into new areas and work on transformational initiatives.

Your role

As an associate manager on the analytics team, youll drive measurement, analysis and testing initiatives supporting marketing product launches and thought leadership. 


A key part of the role will be your ability to influence and inform marketing strategy and decision using insights and analysis.  To do so, you will need to use critical thinking and deep analytical expertise to design and perform statistical analyses that continuously improve our efficiency and campaign impact.


Your Expertise

What we are looking for in your background:

  • Independently leads projects from campaign design, business review meetings with internal clients, deriving requirements, and data analyses to final reports/presentations, communication of results and implementation support.
  • Familiarity with data that sits across different marketing platforms is key -  this includes but is not limited to, data from email, web analytics, social media, webinar, and sales data.
  • Define performance analytics standards, guidelines and marketing KPIs for marketing strategies, programs and campaigns to measure effectiveness.
  • Utilize modeling and advanced statistical methods to drive marketing acquisition, targeting, upsell/cross-sell readiness, and lapse prediction.
  • Measure bottom-line impact of marketing strategies by informing test design and leveraging advanced analytical tools to perform cost benefit analysis.


What youll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience on a team responsible for analyzing marketing data and developing reporting. 
  • Strong marketing analytical skills is a must with emphasis on ROI/attribution analysis and funnel optimization.
  • 3 years hands-on experience with SAS, R, Python or similar statistical package. 
  • Exceptional analytic, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to business partners.
  • Excellent work ethic and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.  Must demonstrate strong project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably Masters in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics.

Itd be a plus if you have:

  • Experience with data on the following platforms: Salesforce, Tableau, Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Hearsay, ON24
