The PBNA Supply Chain is responsible for producing & distributing 2 billion cases of product through a network of 60 plants and 400 DCs annually. The Supply Chain Planning Statistical & Data Analytics Team plays a critical role in helping the supply chain function efficiently ensuring that service and inventory levels remain optimized across the businesses. The team evaluates the full end-to-end supply chain network with a key focus on statistical forecasting, cost, capacity, capability and logistics. This role will be a hybrid office role operating out of one of three PepsiCo home offices in: Purchase, NY, Chicago, IL, or Plano, TX. The Associate Principal Predictive Analyst will be accountable for assisting the leaders of Capability and Statistical Analytics in preparation for deployment of our Forecast to Schedule (FTS) solution. The chosen candidate is expected to have a strong background in one or all the following functions: demand planning, statistical forecasting, supply planning and material resource planning. This individual will partner extensively across the organization with the PBNA PGT project team, sector/division planning leaders, IT and external partners on the project (IBM and SAP). This role will require involvement in network simulation, development of training material, user acceptance testing and deployment for network optimization, demand planning, Inventory optimization, production planning and replenishment planning. The position requires the utilization of PBNA supply, demand and material resource planning business processes to successfully deploy our new Forecast to Schedule solution to the sector and division teams. This individual should have the capability to report out to sector and division senior leaders on status and KPIs for demand and planning solutions Key Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain the statistical forecasting solution for demand planning (SAP IBP) Provide SME knowledge and experience to project cut-over activities within demand planning, supply planning and Inventory optimization Be a results-oriented change agent who can understand and help script/facilitate testing of business scenarios for FTS Ensuring data accuracy and completeness for key planning systems & metrics Participate in network simulation and ensure overall quality of the solution with focus on deployment Lead end user training Lead solution adoption and change management, implementing process improvement to drive application sustainability Communicate gaps in FTS solution to PGT leadership team and develop action plans Deliver ongoing and ad-hoc reporting to help inform and optimize SC metrics Proactively reach out to external SMEs and functional team members for advice, guidance, and assistance Continuous improvement of systems, tools, and processes in support of FTS Note:- COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience 4+ years supply chain planning, warehouse or transportation experience Solid understanding of demand and supply planning systems Demonstrated project management skills and process orientation Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through working with others Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize under pressure Preferred Skills: Practical experience with model building, forecasting or data science Practical experience programming in Python, R, SAS Practical experience with Tableau, Power BI, SAP SAC and similar tools Demonstrated skill with SQL queries Ability to challenge requirements and existing business processes to maintain, improve and develop best practices Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices Flexible, resilient, and motivated to change and simplify processes Demonstrated ability as an effective communicator, both written and oral Demonstrated ability to articulate or demonstrate best practices Other Details: Candidate must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the offices in Chicago, IL, Purchase, NY or Plano, TX.
