Job Description

HIVE Brand teams are structured as lean entrepreneurial teams empowered to take risks and operate outside of bureaucracy to move with agility, test and learn running a brand end-to-end.

As the Associate Sales Manager, you play a critical role in building brands at retail and driving sales! You will work with various distributors, front line sales, and merchandisers to ensure that our brands have strong retail presence that are well executed.


Accountabilities:

  • Primary point of contact for sales, merchandising and delivery teams at local sales center(s)
  • Build and maintain relationships with the sales-force, retailers, and all other trade partners to maximize brand potential
  • Maximize execution at store level communication with chain management (vertical call)/local customers, securing & building displays, planogram execution, and point of sale placement
  • Coordinates & participates in crew drives or sales blitzes to generate excitement and sales.
  • Support sell in and ensures that proper set up steps are taken to execute.
  • Continually monitors performance to flag and suggest tactical solutions to drive sales, velocity, and close voids.
  • Collaborates with marketing activation team to ensure that events and marketing activity are leveraged within the trade.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Retail account management experience required
  • DSD experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience managing brokers/distributor partners
  • Ability to successfully prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
  • High resourcefulness to find solutions to challenges.
  • Comfort with ambiguity as demonstrated by being able to adapt in less-structured environments
  • Start-up/ high growth Food & Beverages experience preferred
  • Passion for Food & Beverage and consumer
  • Desire to learn more about sales and start up food and beverage brands
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
