Within Operations and Global Supply Chain, External Planning and Delivery (EPD) manages the plan to stock (PTS) and order to cash (OTC) business processes supporting patient supply with medicines sourced from Amgen's Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO).

The EPD Associate Supply Chain is accountable for successfully managing critical business and system office execution lead functions requiring knowledge of supply chain business and the system processes.

The EPD Associate Supply Chain is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage master data accuracy, past due orders, expired materials, on-time delivery and inventory level CMO performance metrics
  • Coordinate CMO supply planning cycle across planners, track task completion and facilitate reviews as required
  • Reconcile inventory in close partnership with the CMO planners and site managers
  • Assist creating and revising PTS and OTC business processes and associated documents
  • Effectively engage key partners within supply chain, quality, finance, process development, operations and other functional areas as needed
  • Develop reports and presentations according to management's needs
  • Work under medium supervision in line with Amgen values and leadership attributes


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

OR

Associate degree and 2 years of customer service and data entry experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 4 years of customer service and data entry experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in business, math and/or life science disciplines
  • Demonstrated basic experience in SAP PTS and OTC execution, Rapid Response planning execution software, and/or TraceLink serialization DSCSA compliance software?
  • Problem solver with high sense of responsibility to achieve results
  • Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams under medium supervision
  • Strong cross-functional communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize and communicate findings
  • GMP knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical regulations
  • Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements
