**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Automation Infrastructure Lead will have overall responsibility for managing regulatory aspects of the process automation systems and infrastructure used in the manufacture of sterile injectable at the Pfizer McPherson, KS site. This position will provide technical support related to the operation, maintenance, installation, startup/commissioning, testing, and qualification of manufacturing systems and infrastructure within a sterile injectable manufacturing facility.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Responsibility for managing regulatory aspects of automation systems and infrastructure

+ Provide on the floor operational support as needed

+ Support all investigations and audits as needed

+ Provide off-shift and on call support when necessary

+ Responsible for Periodic review of the Automation Systems/Infrastructure

+ Support future capital projects and assure site automation standards are followed

+ Provide automation guidance and training to other functional groups (ie. Operations, Validation, Maintenance, etc) and Automation personnel

+ Author and/or review design documents for projects and process changes

+ Support FAT/commissioning/qualification activities as required

+ Develop and implement site automation standards for systems and infrastructure

+ Develop automation Standard Operating Procedures



Develop a cybersecurity program which allows tracking of assets and patch/anti-virus levels for easier response, as well as anti-virus and patch deployment



+ Be recognized as an expert with site's automation cybersecurity needs

+ Generate and develop system support documentation

+ Participate in the site and network wide teams to provide cybersecurity alignment and direction

+ Clearly communicate progress and issues to management and peers

+ Monitor and trend issues to identify and develop preventative solutions



**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education** :



+ Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field - Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or work experience.



**Experience:**



+ 10+ years in process automation

+ Background in cGMP regulations, be up to date on cybersecurity methodologies and the practical application of those methodologies to control systems.

+ Familiar with process controls equipment including PLCs, DCSs, HMIs, SCADA systems, SQL relational database systems, virtual machine environment and network infrastructure including design and testing skills.

+ Integrated manufacturing systems

+ Good verbal, writing and communication skills

+ English proficiency

+ Computer Literate
