B2B Marketing Manager, Behavioral Health

This individual contributor will be responsible for developing and executing B2B marketing strategies to support product launches and drive growth, including planning, executing and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns to support the Optum Behavioral Health business. This position will maintain a working knowledge of the Optum Behavioral Health business and its key differentiators, as well as the competitive landscape. This individual will partner with the sales team to understand customer needs, the sales cycle and the pipeline in order to effectively support the sales process, drive lead generation, and promote customer retention.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Optum Behavioral Health business and client needs, and apply this knowledge to value prop development, messaging and sales enablement materials and training.
  • Develop compelling thought leadership content (white papers, webinars/presentations, infographics, e-books, etc.) that positions Optum Behavioral Health as a leader in the market.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand buyer needs and pain points, the sales cycle, and maintain a working knowledge of the current pipeline in order to target key prospects with thoughtful content at various stages of the buyer journey.
  • Create, execute, measure and optimize integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand and customer retention for Optum Behavioral Health.
  • Evaluate and coordinate event and speaking engagement opportunities and work with subject matter experts to develop presentations and collateral to be used at internal and external events.
  • Work cross-functionally with external communications, web/digital, social and audience engagement teams to identify available marketing levers, build, execute and measure the success of campaigns.
  • Partner with the digital team to manage Optum.com behavioral health webpage strategy and content.
  • Leverage internal and external creative resources for content development and manage the end-to-end content development process.
  • Develop processes that streamline content development, campaign execution and measurement.
