Your Role and Responsibilities
The Blackbelt Business Partner Development Manager will be a member of the Blackbelt elite team to drive business results from 1-2 select business partners (thereafter referred to as Partners). Reporting directly to the Country software leader, he/she will will play a vital role in driving IBMs premier partner program through the assigned partners to hypergrowth with focus on IBM Hybrid Cloud Integration and Analytics offerings in the Growth segment (which is outside of Key and Enterprise accounts).

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of the Partner Blackbelt sales team which involves weekly reviews, joint account planning, joint sales calls.
  • Take the lead in recommending sales initiatives and demand generation activities to the Partners to build substantial pipeline.
  • Help execute in-depth account plans (based on target goals and KPIs) and coordinate regularly scheduled business reviews to measure success against mutual agreed goals and objectives.
  • Work with Partner to ensure forecasting accuracy using company provisioned sales tools.
  • Work closely with Partner sales team in identifying and developing the opportunities and pitching the IBM value proposition to the customers business stakeholders.
  • Ensure that Partner achieves quarterly sales targets.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of client facing experience in account management and solution selling is mandatory.
  • Experience in consultative selling to C-suite is preferred.
  • Must be a quick learner to quickly align with cross-functional teams within IBM and Partner teams to gain an in-depth understanding of existing and potential deal efforts that will aid in sales progression.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence and communicate effectively and persuasively, in person and in writing, to audiences at all levels.
  • Aggressive yet tactful; must be comfortable with "pushing" the Partner at all levels, to achieve quarterly revenue targets.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment with tenacity.
