Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for driven, highly motivated, and collaborative professionals to become a foundational part of the Analytics team, joining our Sales organization as Data(analytics) & AI Brand Sales Representative.

The primary responsibilities are to identify, nurture, progress and close Analytics opportunities. This is a quota carrying position.
  • Analytics sales rep in commercial & growth segment
  • Maintain a strong coverage with customers and deliver the solution value proposition
  • Build relationships, understand your customers' businesses, present solutions, negotiate and close deals.
  • Involves negotiating and closing deals both independently and with our business partners.
  • Includes the development of new IBM customers as well as the development and maintenance of existing clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to build rapport with clients, be self motivated, accountable, results driven and have a proven track record in software sales, business development or account management.
  • Responsible for handling customer calls (through face-to-face and digital interactions) to progress and close opportunities
  • Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for liaising with customers and creating a solution to meet their needs. This requires proven experience with data management and business analytics solutions
Your success will be measured through meeting and exceeding revenue targets, successful development of new clients, and the ability to leverage new and innovative ways to reach our clients.

[Required Professional and Technical Expertise]
  • Minimum 10 years of software sales experience
  • Must have had over 8 years or working experience in a senior Data(Analytics) solution sales
  • Must have a proven track record in analytics sales environment
  • Develop business opportunity and deal closing
  • Must have experience in creating and delivering pre-sales and presentations and leading client facing communications
  • Senior level engagement in cross industry sales
  • Communication skills are an absolute necessity for business collaboration
  • Collaborate with BP and Distributor
