Business Control Manager - Global Corporate Security

Specific Description:



A senior level individual contributor role that will be a member of the Governance and Controls team within Global Corporate Security. The Governance and Controls team closely partners with Operational Risk and Compliance to deliver oversight of line of business risks, controls and adherence to policy, standards and regulatory requirements. The team supports diverse activities including the ongoing support for the line of business Process, Risk and Control inventory, delivery of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), identification and remediation of issues, oversight of Enterprise Policy reviews as well as management of audits, assessments and testing. Deliverables are regularly visible to executive and senior leadership.



Specifically, responsibilities will include but not limited to:



+ Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture and a trusted advisor to Global Corporate Security teams on documentation of risks, controls, and measures to facilitate adherence to Standards

+ Partner to identify governance and adherence gaps to policy and standards; lead issue remediation efforts

+ Manage Global Corporate Security level risk reporting, including support for the delivery of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Risk ID Inventory

+ Monitor, track, and support Global Corporate Security adherence to Quality Assurance Program Standards

+ Author self-identified audit issues and prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of Global Corporate Security level risk related issues to management

+ Maintain strong risk management governance routines (i.e., risk forums and committee meetings)

+ Partner with Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, and other Enterprise teams to support issues management and operational risk coverage and testing



Required Skills



+ 5+ years leadership experience in one or more of the following: financial services, audit, risk management, compliance, and/or LOB/ECF experience

+ Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships

+ Extremely organized, results driven with demonstrated ability to effectively and successfully manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously

+ Able to lead change in a highly matrixed environment - both vertically and horizontally, across functional/organizational boundaries to establish priorities and achieve results

+ Strong critical thinking capabilities and demonstrated ability to translate vision, strategy and business requirements into clear actionable goals

+ Decisive with highly versatile interpersonal and strong communication skills -written and oral; experienced in developing presentations and delivering to senior level executives; must be able to transform complex concepts into simple and easy to understand messaging

+ Must be highly motivated, proactive, and a self-starter

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent years of professional experience
