Millwood Hospital is seeking a dynamic and  Licensed Business Development Liaison.

 

Millwood Hospital, located in Arlington, Texas, is a 130-bed facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care. Since 1971, children, adolescents, adults and older adults have relied on Millwood Hospital’s extensive and confidential services to help overcome emotional and chemical dependency problems.

Job Requirements

:

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide community educational services on service access, crisis intervention, mental health law, as well as other mental health and chemical dependency services.

  • Develop new contacts and markets in the assigned target market and as directed by the Director of Community Education.

  • Plan and complete a designated number of qualified sales calls per week, which will achieve the overall community education goals and objectives.

  • Develop and enter data into MS4 and maintain accurate database of community contacts and professionals with detailed history of those contacts.

  • Contact all community education accounts through personal visits, telephone calls and letters/mailers on an ongoing basis, developing and encouraging a relationship of trust with all active contacts.

  • Monitor referrals and admissions, and plan an appropriate strategy to maximize referral potential.

  • Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement for the betterment of this position, the community and the facility.

  • Maintain a competition informational file and contribute to the ongoing SWOT analysis.

  • The essential job functions of this position are not limited to the duties listed above.

Position Requirements:

Education:  A Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health, marketing, business administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:  Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care community education environment with measurable results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred.

Licensure:  Must have a valid driver’s license.
