What You'll Do

Our newly formed EA compliance team collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to provide and manage the capabilities required for simplifying software purchase, consumption and management across architectures. Our service is key to achieving Ciscos Recurring Revenue strategies, and we have a unique competitive differentiator; in that we are the only provider who offers True Forward experience.

In this role, you will optimize license compliance operations and lead multiple medium to high complexity initiatives that enable both the immediate operational needs and the long-term priorities supporting License Compliance Practice.

The role requires extensive cross-functional understanding of operational objectives. The individual will also establish and communicate new programs, that drives program to scale.

  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee resource budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Work with senior leadership team.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Communicate customer issues with operations team, OMO, IT and BU and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
  • Solid grasp of Smart accounts and Smart licensing.
  • Prior experience in license compliance helps.
  • Track, measure and communicate customer disputes to leadership and cross functional teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring quotes and dispute resolution meet their SLAs.
  • Accountable for compliance practice KPIs such as: bookable target, quote target, minimum cycles and CSAT impact.
  • Be available for partner and customer calls to discuss escalation and/or consumption report in detail.
  • Responsible for addressing project/program escalations.
  • Provides matrix management supervision when and where required.
  • Oversee project staff, including vendors, partners and sub-contractors.
  • Create status reports and readouts for senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

Who You'll Work With

The License compliance team is key to Ciscos Recurring Revenue and Incremental revenues and this is achieved through cross functional partnership with Sales, Offer Monetization office, Global Partner Operations, Field enablement and Finance. The team drives initiatives from end to end in the engagement life cycle, encouraging alignment across theaters, segments and functions, seeking excellence and consistency in management practices with the ultimate goal of accelerating Cisco's recurring revenue growth.

Who You Are

Critical attributes include:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 15+ years relevant experience.
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude and a highly collaborative style.
  • Calm and self-motivated with a strong focus on delivery under tight timelines.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams & work with resources, in a virtual style, that are not under direct control will determine success in the role.
  • Open to remote for the right candidate

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial with previous experience leading services. And have analytic horsepower, logical reasoning ability and ideally, an understanding of Cisco products and solutions.
