A 'business segment' is a system of capabilities designed to develop, sell, deliver, and support products and services to a system of customers. A business segment team is responsible for the entire idea-to-market process, and its value streams include all four types of capabilities.

* Developing winning value propositions
* Selling by accessing target customers and creating perfect purchase moments.
* Delivering as promised and generating referrals.
* Supporting to contribute to overall quality and performance.
The Business Segment Director will be responsible to the Business Segment Leader, working inwardly on dedicated segment as well as collaborating across with other segments. This individual will also regularly work with functional leaders across the HO, ensuring the segment needs are met for successful execution of strategies. Lastly, this individual will play a key role in building out their segment's team, leading individuals both directly and indirectly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Advocate the team's strategy across the firm from the perspective of overall enterprise competitive advantage
* Assist with the strategies in developing the end to end customer journey working in a matrixed organization to ensure consistent delivery of superior client experience across distribution channels
* Understand and influence the revenue and profitability growth strategies through execution of competitive advantage
* Identify and resolve primary constraints with casual logic to developing, selling and delivering winning value propositions to internal and external customers.

* Effectively lead change and contribute to the firm's transformation.

Measures of Success:

* Deliver on high performance standards and protect our clients through adherence to principles, policies, procedures and various regulatory requirements
* Embrace principles and practices defined by Segment Leader in development of winning value propositions.
* Accountable for results and achievement of performance metrics across segment. (including quantitative and qualitative)
