Mayhill Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Case Manager. Mayhill Hospital located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is a 59-bed private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. We are one of the few facilities in the area that can provide care to those individuals with both coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions. We are uniquely trained to provide care to seniors who have exhausted their psychiatric days. The Case Manager is responsible for managing complex patient issues within the context of a crisis stabilization model, providing casework, group, individual and family therapy, as well as discharge planning services to promote the highest level of patient functioning as they transition back to a community setting. As a patient advocate and an essential member of the interdisciplinary team, this person works collaboratively with patients, guardians, families and the treatment team both internal and external to the organization to coordinate communication among all entities involved in the care of the patient.

Job Requirements

Education:    Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment skills and discharge planning; must have strong clinical assessment skills preferred.

License:   Care Manager must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. Required Licensure: LMSW, LCSW LPC or LPC-Intern.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior training within 10 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.  This position may require occasional flexibility of standard work hours and occasional overtime.
