POSITION SUMMARY
- The cashier is responsible for maintaining accurate cash records; receiving, disbursing, and recording of all cash transactions. The cashier will greet each customer in a polite and positive manner and assist in finding items in the cafeteria. Cashier will be responsible for restocking the cafeteria area with foods and supplies, along with maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Will demonstrate an understanding of all patient populations served.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - None
- Educational Requirements
  - Able to read and write
  - Able to follow oral and written directions
  - 16 years or age or older
- Experience Requirements
  - Previous cash handling and food service experience is preferred, but not required
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
  - Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
