Who You Are

A change manager will play a key role in creating the communications and strategy to ensure projects (change initiatives) meet objectives by customer, partner, seller, and employee awareness, understanding, adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize awareness, adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

In this highly visible role as a Communications Change Manager within our Digital Renewals & Growth team your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Conducting change impact assessment across all programs within the team 
  • Collaborating and creating Change Management strategies for all programs under the Digital Renewals & Growth umbrella
  • Understanding all projects within the Digital Renewals & Growth team and building change management strategies that will deliver successful awareness and adoption
  • Creating, tracking, and executing project and communication plans to support program strategies
  • Writing, coordinating, and distributing communications internally within DLJ, CX and Cisco
  • Developing strong relationships with team leaders to ensure programs and communications remain aligned with business priorities and outcomes; relationship building, and maintenance is key to this position
  • Ensuring the effective engagement of key stakeholders from every part of the world throughout Customer Experience; act as lead in assigned initiatives 
  • Helping to facilitate the timely completion of high-quality deliverables; related to all communications & change management activities 
  • Tracking and reporting on key metrics, where applicable. Set up clear and concise reporting to be shared on a regular basis
  • The ability to be creative and working within the gray area without direction is expected. Be confident
  • Act as a point of contact for leadership, management, employees, and project team
  •  Act as an advisor, assist in facilitating effective decision making, coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives

 

Who You'll Work With

You will work cross functionally with the Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, and IT organizations, playing a leadership role in transforming Cisco by developing and implementing analytic models and intelligent automation to drive us toward a data-driven digital organization.

Our team, Digital Lifecycle Journeys (DLJ) digital expertise makes us uniquely qualified to address the evolving expectations of todays connected customers and partners, along with Cisco sellers. Using real-time connected data, machine learning, and automation; the team enables Cisco sellers and partners to deliver a powerful, personalized experiencethroughout the entire customer lifecycle. DLJ is focused on providing customers with an immersive digital experience with Cisco. This in turn drives improvements in recurring revenue, cost savings and sales effectiveness for Cisco and its partners. 

  • At least 4 years of change management & communications experience and 3 years of project management experience
  • Familiarity with Change Management Methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, engagement and social skills. Must be able to take sophisticated, technical information and make it easy to follow for executive, technical and end user audiences.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience and knowledge of program management and change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
  • Design skill are a plus
  • Must be able to thrive in a team environment and in a large organization with thousands of partners, customers and end users located around the world. 
  • Must actively seek feedback to ensure deliverables meet requirements and feel comfortable making as many changes as needed to meet requirements.
  • Must be able to understand and explain highly complex information in simple digestible ways.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships & collaborate effectively
  • Strong project management skills specific to the planning and implementation of change management deliverables
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills
  • Ability to build confirmed working relationships with team members
  • Experience with maintaining virtual communities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-demand environment where you can prioritize and execute quickly
  • Energetic with a passion to learn


Desired Skills

  • Experience creating collateral with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Training Development (eLearning, Workshops)
