Position Summary

Guggenheim is seeking an exceptional, self-motivated Analyst to join its Client Service Support team. Reporting to the Head of Client Service Support ("CSS"), this person will join a highly integrated and visible team responsible for maintaining key information and providing support to the CSS team for all client operational requests. In addition to strong communication and analytical skills, the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an eagerness to learn, and ability to coordinate multiple priorities at one time and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Analyst role presents a unique opportunity to develop relationships across multiple business areas within Guggenheim including Institutional Distribution, Portfolio Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting and Tax. The position is located in New York City.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support the CSS team in all operational client requests for the middle and back offices.
  • Enhance, monitor and maintain all tools used to track client inquiries, including but not limited to various Client Service Support correspondence inboxes, ensuring appropriate and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Maintain internal and external daily dashboards and reports for consistent communication and transparency with relevant stakeholders and clients.
  • Support the central Account Master data repository as needed.
  • Help design, document and implement appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance on various ad-hoc and special projects as directed by management.

  • Experience working with investment management marketing and distribution teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including demonstrated ability to analyze and manage large sets of interconnected data and information.
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver.
  • Ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvement.
  • Self-starter with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to deliver information for ad-hoc requests as well as perform day-to-day operational responsibilities.


Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with 1-2 years of work experience in investment management or financial services environment.
  • High to advanced proficiency in all Microsoft products, including but not limited to Excel, Visio, Word, Outlook..
  • Experience with projects related to enterprise data management.
