Your Role and Responsibilities

Embedded in IBMs DNA is constant reinvention and supporting our clients as they go through transformational change. We know our clients are looking for leadership from strategic partners who can help them transform to the new normal:

They want support as they migrate from their traditional infrastructure to the cloud

They need enterprise support on the Open Source products that they use to constantly iterate and advance with agility, compared to the old monolithic architecture of the past

As new vendors transform their products and services to support this transformation, they need support partners with credibility and experience

As smaller, faster, newer technology advances into the branches, stores, and workplaces of their customers and our community, our clients want help to remove the support complexity that comes with this change

Build influential client relationships

Identify and build compelling stories that engage our clients and our internal teams and get them excited about the business outcomes that our portfolio can amplify and accelerate

Be creative and persistent in building relationships and creating an action plan

Build trust through meeting and exceeding promises, commitments and follow up actions

Be viewed as a pioneer of new & relevant thinking

Develop account plans aligned with the clients agenda and how IBM can help drive value and performance

Develop and enhance personal POV on how the client can improve performance overall and through the application of IBM solutions, skills and know-how

Leverage IBMs story, innovation capabilities, and senior executives, to hold higher value conversations

Be viewed as a champion of client experience

Drive business outcomes that make the client and IBM successful (mutual success)

Measure IBMs value delivery and communicate IBMs value add to the client at regular intervals

Earn clients trust, starts with strong delivery to over-delivering in every client exchange

Provide insight to manage client opportunities and needs (e.g., resourcing)

Excel at personal re-invention with clients

Make the client smarter about the issues that matter most within the Industry

Actively grow thinking, understanding, eminence of the team and clients talent

Build 3-dimensional acumen (IT, Business, Consulting) that allows you to rapidly adapt skills in a changing client environment

Demonstrate ability to integrate & collaborate

Know first-hand the range of TSS and IBM offerings and capabilities that allow us to deliver superior outcomes to the client

Developing a strong cross-brand network and day-to-day working relationships to deliver on our clients needs like no othe

Think and act beyond borders

Frame points of view / recommended approach in global context help our clients see opportunity and growth beyond existing borders

Analyse and leverage the depth and breadth of IBMs global offerings to deliver against our clients expectations, footprint and needs




Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  1. Mature leadership profile with robust amount of years in consulting, consultative selling, sales leadership experience in the IT services industry with a focus on long term transformational agendas
  2. Experience in closing large and complex deals
  3. Ability to sell transformation of the customer's IT environment
  4. Services Outsourcing
  5. Knowledge of big market players.
  6. Relationship C-Level
  7. Public, Financial Services, Health Care and/or Telco
  8. High degree of spoken and written communication skills in English and Spanish Language
  9. Market eminence, developing subject matter expertise. Personal social and digital eminence
