Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Primary support resource for Director, NCIES to ensure consistent support and value to OptumCare Services Organizations and ECP constituents.
  • ""
  • Secondary contact for NCIES clinical and design leadership and staff
  • ""
  • Analyzes data and gather facts to improve NCIES strategy through processes or systems
  • ""
  • Ownership and Management of NCIES deliverables as it relates to Risk and Quality Initiatives specifically,
  • ""
  • Serve as Operations lead for management of data mining, analysis and interpretation
  • ""
  • Leverage best practices from existing programs to create customized, scalable solutions for new products or improvement to existing products
  • ""
  • Work with Health Care Economics partners to develop progress reports and report to Leadership
  • ""
  • Project lead responsibilities include, tracking key metrics, mitigation strategies and resource capacity within NCIES
  • ""
  • Serve as Program Manager for new programs and initiatives launched within the NCIES product related to internal and external clients
  • ""
  • Develop and interpret reports that lead to actionable approaches by multiple segments of the business including operationally and clinically focused leaders.
  • ""
  • Lead/facilitate meetings to drive execution of initiatives
  • ""
  • Attendance at meetings for broader Care Delivery initiatives
  • ""
  • Drive delivery and maintain project plan timelines
  • ""
  • Ensure prompt escalation of challenges/issues that will impact the business and initiative delivery
  • ""
  • Partner with internal ECP team to provide tools and materials for project success
  • ""
  • Collaborate with peers to maintain ECP and Optum Service knowledge across the team

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • ""
  • 5+ years of solid Project Management experience and successful project delivery
  • ""
  • 3+ years of data analytics with proven experience of development and implementation of data supported strategy
  • ""
  • 3+ years of data management and analysis, best practices and manipulation with the ability to leverage data to support the development of ongoing strategies.
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience in successfully delivering on Operational projects in a matrix environment
  • ""
  • Proven and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ""
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to deliver on Clinical Risk and Quality initiatives
  • ""
  • Ability to influence and work with internal and external stakeholders/resources to move projects and programs forward at a national level.
  • ""
  • Ability to interpedently manage to timelines and escalate issues as appropriate
  • ""
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects and manage project resources
  • ""
  • Documentation experience is needed, including project plans
  • ""
  • Comfortable with the development of report outs and presentation to management
  • ""
  • Expert level experience in Excel -Highly proficient in large dataset management within Excel
  • ""
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • ""
  • 10% travel Nationwide Team Meetings when required
