Your Role and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for generating, leading, managing and closing Hybrid Cloud Software business directly or indirectly with business partners. He/She should carry client satisfaction and for revenue generation via frequent communication within a large and divers territory assignment. Identifies opportunities, and works with, engages, or leads a team including market sales (Coverage sales), Sales Specialists, Business Partners, influences and other as appropriate. He/She can show the proven sales records with more than 10 year's sales experience.
  • Developing market pipeline for Hybrid Cloud Software (Private Cloud, WAS, Tivoli, Rational etc.)
  • Working with Channels team to enable an energetic partner base that can build and deliver software and services for our clients. Working with the wider ecosystem to ensure adoption of cloud platform by ISVs, start-ups and developer base.
  • Working with marketing/digital to drive focused campaigns for quality lead generation and progression/closure.
  • Collaborating closely with IBM Software Service to drive offerings and align with value proposition of our clients.
  • Implementing a management system and business rhythm built to accelerate this fast-growing business (with focus on both revenue (consumption) and signings)
  • Proven record for transactions, SaaS and services business

  • Proven sale record in enterprise and commercial
  • Deep understanding of hybrid cloud market
  • Mature sales experiences with 10 years of sales in C-level client facing experience, strong operational and P&L skills to lead sales and business development
  • Bold strategic thinker with a growth mindset who seeks out opportunities, challenges status quo and proposes solutions.
  • Strong team player and collaborator who is adept to working across the various teams, stakeholders locally, virtually and globally.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written communication skills in English

  • Demonstrated cloud management experience
  • More than 10 years solutions sales experience with ecosystem; Business partners, ISV and SIs
