Commercial Effectiveness Lead


Commercial Effectiveness Lead is responsible for the overall management, planning and execution of Pfizer Taiwan GCO Commercial Effectiveness services, including Incentive Compensation (IC), Sales Force Automation (SFA), Promotional Operations, and Sample Operations in Taiwan in line with Global, Regional and Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group strategies to support Pfizer Taiwan's purpose, bold moves, and business goals.

The CE Lead will act as the subject matter experts in the GCO/Commercial Effectiveness category to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance in the overall GCO/CE process for Pfizer commercial teams. He / She will also lead the roll-out, implementation and management of key CE solutions such as Global Customer Relationship Management tool (Veeva CRM /PforceRx) and reporting system (Pfire), IC calculation tool (e.g., IC EXCEL) any new solutions identified as key components for Pfizer.

In addition, this CE Lead will also support the governance of key policies such as IC and Sample SOP and align to global and local policies, guidelines and regulations for Pfizer Taiwan.


1. Act as a focal point to the GCO APAC Regional and/or Centre of Excellence (CoE) for CE strategy, communication, initiative, and policy alignment.

2. Being a strategic partner with the commercial for CE/FFE program design and execution to improve efficiency and productivity as well as ensuring programs comply with compliance guideline /corporate integrity agreements and Local government laws.

3. Build and maintain strong partnerships with Marketing and Sales Managers, BAI, Business operation, Digital/BT, other Departments to ensure the implementation of CE/FFE programs and support the local stakeholders on the development of the yearly Commercial Effectiveness demand planning and strategy.

4. Provide CE consultancy to the local stakeholders; develop and provide CE/FFE planning and execution data, insights, opportunity and innovation idea reports for the local stakeholders.

5. Understand and communicate all the Local Compliance requirements and Policies to the stakeholders following the Global and local SOP.

6. Provide support, guidance, and training to local stakeholders in the usage of global GCO CE tools and programs and promote the adoption of all GCO CE tools, systems, services and solutions, such as Veeva CRM(PforceRx), Pfire, Veeva Vault (GCMA), IC tool (IC EXCEL), GCO on Demand, etc.

7. Collaborate with Compliance to ensure requirements are included in Commercial Effectiveness processes; manage and analyze current IC/Sample SOPs, systems and tools aiming at leveraging the structure and finding efficiencies and standardizations as well as the evolution of the CE operating model and act as a focal point for the Local stakeholders and/or Corporate Audits.

8. Define KPI of CE/FF effectiveness aligned with the business as well provide analysis and insights, using data provide by service delivery team, and execute agreed plans of action.

9. Accountability and joint responsibility with Regional Commercial Excellence Team for scope, direction, priorities of FFE strategy in the market, aligned with global design guideline, challenge status quo to drive both FF productivity improvement and customer value. Ensuring global strategies and policies are applied in the market.

10. Seek out Commercial Effectiveness good practices from the market and share to the region.

**Task responsibility:**

**(I) Sales Force Automation (SFA), Territory Alignment and Sales Quota Setting process management:**

1. Lead the Sales Force Automation project roll-out, manage SFA systems (e.g., Veeva CRM-PforceRx/Pfire/BMPH/BPM systems) to enable effective sales activity management.

2. Enhance SFA systems and work with Global and local stakeholders to ensure the proper functioning of systems.

3. Perform the Field Force structure deployments, sales target and segmentation definitions and designs in alignment with the business FFE strategy.

4. Partner with GCO Training to support FF SFA tool training & communications

5. Develop proper guidelines and SOP with close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, HR, Digital/BT, and Key BU Stakeholders ensuring Governance and compliance.

**(II) Incentive Compensation:**

1. Develop the IC Program in alignment with PBG Strategy, HR and Finance guaranteeing approvals in compliance with global policies.

2. Update local IC SOP in alignment with the global and local policies; ensure overall local IC operation complies with the IC SOP and act as focal point and support during the Local and/or Corporate Audits.

3. Lead the IC project roll out (IC Excel tool) to enable effective IC operations management.

4. Support IC calculation process and budget management while complying with the IC Standard Operating Procedures.

5. Perform the IC KPI management, analysis and actionable insights to business for IC program improvement.

**(III) Sample Operation:**

1. Manage Sample local SOP, KPIs, forecast and ensure SOP is in place and updated in a timely manner, and in alignment with global and local policies.

2. Manage local Sample tracking and monitoring process and ensure document readiness with GCO Admin's support.

3. Focal point and support for the Sample Local and Corporate Audits and communicate any Global and Local Policy updates and/or deviations to the Local Stakeholders (LOSART team).

**(IV)Promotional Materials Operations:**

1. Manage Veeva Vault-GCMA system with GCO Admin support.

2. Manage Inventory Distribution and Logistics process with GCO Admin Support.

3. Support PorceRx CLM/RTE deployment and management.

4. Monitor and manage promo operations KPIs and standard metrics with GCO Admin Support.


University graduate or commensurate experience

Fluency in English

Commercial experience

Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing & sales processes

Operational business and process planning

Experience in application support and/or application administration

Understanding of field based technology; Digital/IT literacy

Understanding of field force deployment processes

Ability to work in a matrix environment

Knowledge of Excel and database functionality

Proficient in utilizing MS Office applications (Office 365, MS Excel, PowerPoints, Word)
