Auto req ID: 274688BR Job Description Role can be in either Plano, TX or Purchase, NY The Energy Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting Energy COE and Commodities group in Global Procurement. Responsibilities include managing North America Electricity contracts for PepsiCo, ensuring commodity risk management supporting the playbook hedging program, and supplier relationship management of third-party consulting partners. Additionally, the Energy Senior Analyst will lead PepsiCo strategy and efforts to achieve 100% Renewable Electricity in North America Job Accountabilities: The primary accountabilities of this job can be broken down as follows: Responsible for execution of $180MM in annual PepsiCo and Anchor Bottler spend for Electricity contracts for all manufacturing, distribution and office sites in the U.S. and Canada. Manage and leverage 3rd party relationship to optimize reporting, contract negotiations, RFP processes Develop an understanding of regional and national power markets to become effective and knowledgeable for managing physical supply and pricing. Develop, manage and communicate electricity annual budgets for all manufacturing plants based on the AOP planned commodity prices Develop annual productivity plans in energy category by facilitating pipeline ideation sessions, leading efforts to source productivity ideas and project selection. Manage sourcing approach on electricity in support of PEP renewable energy corporate targets Manage ENGIE Insight 3rd party billing relationship and overall process for energy. Drive process efficiencies and eliminate waste where applicable through automation and digitalization opportunities. The successful candidate will be the liaison with several internal functions including operations, accounting, finance, sustainability, and legal teams. Qualifications/Requirements The requirements for this job are as follows: Four-year degree in business, economics, or supply chain preferred At least 5 years experience in Procurement, Operations, or Sustainability Experience with the following is greatly preferred: Commodity market experience, especially energy commodity markets Energy industry experience, especially Renewable Energy market Strong analytic and investigative skills Excellent communications skills, especially written communications to management and operations team members Takes initiative to find ways to get better results, seeks and takes advantage of ideas, best practices and solutions.
