Job Description

A new Global Business Newsroom has been stood up in global internal communications to provide this support. The newsroom will be staffed with communicators who develop strategic communications and communications assets for one or more global functions. There is a specific need for a communicator to support a broad group of Commercial organization and other functions on a variety of strategic initiatives. This role is focused on storytelling and general internal communications work.

This role will be responsible for creating, writing, editing and managing communications assets for several functions within the Commercial organizations and others.

  • This role is focused on storytelling and internal communications for a broad audience.
  • Initiatives, areas of expertise and leader profiles for this function should be amplified on a variety of channels including, PEPfeed, MyPepsiCo, Yammer, Email, town halls, meetings and other forums.
  • The L9 role will be expected to run point on execution for each channel and promote accordingly to a variety of internal stakeholders.
  • Write, edit and produce content and assets to keep associates informed about specific activities that are advancing our Winning with a Purpose strategy.
  • Support team in providing SMEs with campaign recommendations and communications feedback.
  • Provide editorial and administrative assistance with communication and change management activities that support the companys strategic goals.
  • The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to develop communications assets, maintaining an editorial calendar; partner with subject matter experts in multiple functions to create and vet content.
  • His/her work will be reviewed by communications partners before its published.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a field related to communications, business or organizational development
  • 8 or more years professional experience, preferably in a large organization
  • Strong editorial skills, including research, interviewing, listening, writing and editing
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, adapt and work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships across functions, geographies and seniority levels
  • Resourceful problem-solver who overcomes barriers
  • Highly organized with the ability to lead and complete assigned projects on schedule and within budget
  • Attention to detail
  • Executive presence
  • This person will be a self-starter and a collaborative team player that is solution-oriented and capable of articulating complex topics
