Reports to: Managing Director of Community Engagement

Summary: Support the mission of the team and Community Engagement. Under the direction of the Managing Director of Community Engagement, the Manager will execute and provide support for a variety of community programs and events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Spirit of 12 program working closely with Seattle Seahawks Charitable Foundation and Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. Responsibilities include management of application process, volunteer coordination, gameday logistics, fundraising and exploring potential implementation of 50/50 gameday raffle.  
  • Act as liaison with Corporate Partnership department, leading, planning, and executing many key partner community programs including Legion of Youth, Crucial Catch, Captains Blitz, Rumble at the Ridge, Community Captains and Blood Drives.
  • Lead key relationships and support of communities experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, building out programs, assistance, and awareness campaigns.
  • Manage voter engagement campaign, working closely with key internal departments and community organizations to drive voter registration and participation.
  • Manage Social Responsibility, Volunteerism and Huddle NFL grants, identifying recipients and building a content plan to raise awareness for the organizations.
  • Manage Community Engagement seasonal intern, coordinating schedule, responsibilities, and professional development.
  • Lead CRM tracking and Tableau reporting for all Community Engagement programs and events, working closely with Business Intelligence to ensure regular reporting on our community impact.  
  • Support charitable donations program including items, cash, experiences, auctions ensuring every donation is tracked, fulfilled, and reported on in a timely manner. Manage promotional material inventory and player autograph sessions.
  • Build and develop relationships with external community and non-profit partners to build brand equity and understand the needs of our community including, but not limited to, LGBTQ+ and Physical & Neuro Diverse communities.
  • Support community Social Justice efforts, working in partnership with other teammates in the community department to advocate for historically marginalized communities, amplify the voices of organizations fighting for racial equality and take action through programs and financial support.  
  • Provide internal teammates with opportunities to get involved in community programs through volunteerism and days of service.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Digital, Production and PR departments to create content and coverage plans for Community events and programs.
  • Closely monitor your programs and events to ensure expenses fit within allocated budget, tracking expenses on a regular basis in community budget.
  • Support other Community programs and events and handle special requests and projects, as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage, develop and track hours for one department intern.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum of two years of event and/or community program experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Manage changing priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different environments and working cultures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and creatively solve day-to-day challenges.
  • Excellent computer skills - master of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  
  • Knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Tableau & Wrike preferred but not required.
