Job Description

PepsiCos HFM financial reporting systems are responsible for the collection, review and reporting of PepsiCos financial results. The applications support the companys external filings as well as the internal management reporting requirements for the control, tax and planning communities around the globe.

As part of the Corporate Control department, the HFM team is responsible for the maintenance of the HFM applications and related modules (SmartView, FDM, DRM, Maestro and Symphony) along with supporting a 1500+ worldwide userbase.

Reporting to the Control and Reporting Associate Manager, this role will be involved with the support of the HFM planning application, PepsiCos Lease management application, CoStar, as well as the sharing of HFM data across multiple platforms. The role will also develop and conduct training sessions and participate in special projects throughout the year.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn from the ground floor about how the HFM applications are built and maintained, assist the user community and be part of a team which plays an integral role enabling PepsiCos financial reporting community. They must be detail oriented and enjoy working with technical subject manner with a sincere interest in learning about these critical reporting systems as a building block for a future financial systems career.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the HFM planning community through application updates to the HFM Planning application. The process includes coordinating user requests, maintaining security classes, writing reports, processing updates in both the test and production environments.

  • Support planning users during the close and planning cycles, addressing HFM functionality questions, helping diagnose errors and providing general support.

  • Support and administer the CoStar lease application. Including assisting users with general support questions, address technical issues and liaise with vendor support as needed.

  • Assist with the development and conducting of HFM training classes for both 1:1 and larger size sessions as needed.

  • Perform SOx reporting on a quarterly basis

  • Participate in special projects, create technical documentation and look for opportunities for automation and process improvements.

  • Manage the HFM data sharing process with the EDW community, including building of data extracts, monitoring data flow processes and assisting with technical queries as they arise.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BA in Information Technology or Finance related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT / Financial Systems related position supporting systems and applications. International experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of popular business software applications such as MSOffice and data editing applications
  • Comfortable with the technical subject matter, accounting and financial reporting a plus, but not required.
  • Customer-driven focus, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working both independently and part of a team, often in a fast-paced environment
