Controls and Information Systems (C&IS) Engineer
Auto req ID: 271936BR Job Description Frito-Lay Supply Chain Transformation & Engineering is seeking a Controls & Information Systems Senior Engineer to define strategy for plant automation and system integration. Job Description: Define controls and IT scope of processing, packaging, and/or material handling systems to meet functional and business requirements. Lead cross-functional reviews of electrical design, controls configuration, and functional specification documentation, provided by external vendors. Assess new IT/OT technology and develop integration strategies to pilot and commercialize. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Prepare bid packages for system integrators and equipment manufacturers. Provide direction to diverse groups such as IT, external vendors, and plant resources. Develop reporting and visualization tools to improve operations performance. Define system validation requirements, develop validation documentation, generate and execute test protocols. Provide on-site start-up engineering support during line commissioning COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role.
