Position Summary
- To perform CT/MR procedures as requested and be knowledgeable in all aspects of the department. To be able to function and use independent judgment without direct supervision. To assist in other areas of the department, as necessary. To organize, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the CT/MR section to ensure quality patient care while following all applicable compliance and local medical standard guidelines. Provides accurate, concise, and effective oral and written communication. Provides timely information to staff and others. Utilizes appropriate channels. Promotes positive environment conducive to teamwork and innovation. Promotes cooperation with and respect for other departments.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Licenses and Certifications Required
- ARRT registered or registry pending.
- NDMIRTBE licensed.
Educational Requirements
- Registered Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible Radiologic Technologist.
Experience Requirements
- Advanced education in CT or MR; Registered in CT or MR preferred.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Specialized training in CT and/or MR on the equipment presently used in the CT/MR scanning area.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to start IVs for contrast administration.
- Proper charging of procedures by hospital information system
- Ability to adapt and learn new protocols on new equipment as purchased.
- Must be able to work effectively under stress and in emergency situations.
- This person will need to “trouble-shoot” equipment occasionally.
- Ability to correct, develop, and pursue new protocols and procedures as technology and equipment changes or advances.
- An acute understanding of triaging emergent situations is a must.

- Hourly Wage from $25.81 - $34.87 per hour.
- Shift Differential up to $3.75 per hour.
