What You'll Do


As a Service manager for Enterprise Data Foundation, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Day to day operations related to Enterprise Data Foundation
  • Manage and report on service management aspects incidents, problems, changes, and customer critical issues
  • Manage and report on data refresh SLAs, data quality issues
  • Assigns, coordinates, and supervises work of technical resources by prioritizing business impacting incidents due to data quality or refresh issues
  • Interact with key business partners, multi-functional teams to assess and clearly communicate impact to business processes due to any planned or unplanned outages
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and delivery managers to operationalize new capabilities
  • Provide technical and functional guidance and customer concern coverage to vendor resources while resolving major incidents
  • Analyze data quality issue patterns and plan resources to effectively address them

This team is responsible for integrating data from multiple systems into connected data architecture, define enterprise metrics, drive sales and productivity growth for Cisco through advanced analytics.

You have a good level of experience working with vendors and various cross functional business partners. You are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to tell a compelling story from data. You have an extremely strong service attitude.


Skills and Proficiencies Required:


  • Understanding of general Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Data integration (DI) and Business reporting concepts
  • Good understanding of the technical ecosystem of Teradata, Informatica, Control-M and any BI tools
  • 8+ years of proven experience working in data warehouse operations or sophisticated multi-functional projects with production support
  • Familiar with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
  • Familiar with Continues Integration and Delivery toolset
  • Demonstrable experience in handling and thriving in stressful situations to achieve business outcomes, in a fast-paced highly multi-functional organization
  • You communicate clearly and effectively with excellent written and verbal communication, strong facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Project Management skills to define scope and outcomes, track actions and lead toward success, including vendor management
  • Drive continual improvement of the supported service(s)
  • Ability to handle high levels of ambiguity but seek clarification when needed
  • You are a self-starter and work independently and excited by driving improvement projects
  • Effective teammate, attentive to detail, Energy and Real Passion for work
