What You'll Do

Customer Experience, EMEAR, is hiring a Business Development & Advisory Director to work within our Transformation and Technology Group (TTG). This role will lead EMEAR Growth strategies, large sophisticated deals and development capability.

The Transformation & Technology team is a core component of the EMEAR CX Theatre team and provides Architectural thought leadership to our clients and theatre-based teams. In this role you will help lead the Development of our Transformation capabilities working with our colleagues to drive CX EMEAR Growth through understanding customer needs, evaluating market conditions and partnering with key stakeholders including Sales, BU & CXPM. The CX TTG team charter is to drive Cisco CX Portfolio across BCS, Success Tracks and key architecture penetration, increase CX growth, support Theatre Delivery and to delight our customers.

This role is rich and varied and combines elements of Business Development, Solution Design for Major Deals, Advisory, Consulting and Programs for CX EMEAR.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading our portfolio BDMs; evolving their capability to drive growth
  • Leading the Advisory team to mange our complex engagements
  • Develop Business Development capability and expertise aligned with future business needs, incubating scaling into the theatres to support demand growth
  • Develop capability to lead EMEAR Large Sophisticated Deals (key deals) in partnership with the theatres, CX HQ and Sales
  • Develop the alignment and Execution of our CX capability with Segments; Sales Plays and Growth Scaling with Sales
  • Provide oversight to technologically sophisticated deals; help us drive our leading Transform opportunities and landing these with our Sales teams
  • Develop function Solutions & Outcome skills transformation, in conjunction with Role Communities
  • Work with our CX Product Management team and the Business Units to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Drive key business decisions and proactively work with cross-functional business leaders on intersections of scope and dependencies

Key skills required:

  • Strong people leadership skills and background
  • Strong client presence and CxO level engagement experience, consulting, outsourcing and/or delivery
  • Expertise in Service Design for integrated large scale service solutions
  • Expertise in analyzing and prioritizing the most relevant customer and market demands and developing the required strategy to make our customers successful at scale
  • Strong Project Management skills including planning, reporting, coordinating the work of others
  • Work and lead in a multi-functional diverse matrix organization of experts
  • Track record/experience in partnering/subcontracting professional services
  • Produce compelling proposals with associated Service Design, levels of effort, quotes and contracting documentation
  • Ability to consult and communicate optimally towards Sales, Customer and Customer Experience organization and with excellent skills in writing compelling storylines, both in slide and text formats
  • Experience delivering enterprise and service provider services
  • Sales/solution development/business development role background
  • Solid understanding across a broad variety of technology solutions such as Cloud, Security, IoT, Collaboration, Service Provider, Mobility, Enterprise Networking, Data Centre, Software etc.
  • Track record of growth in services engagements
  • Experience in Risk Assessment/Management
