The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Data Architect II.

The Data Architect II applies expertise with ERP data, indexes, keys, views & relationships in an ERP database. Analyzes and documents business process flows, working closely with a variety of HR and Finance disciplines and subject matter experts to help create efficiencies with additional or improved process automation. Creates reports and queries using SQL based development tools. Implements SQL and JavaScript based process flows to automate business process and/or invoke APIs, using Lawson/Infor IPA or similar technologies. Provides end-user support while troubleshooting issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzes and documents business process flows, working closely with a variety of HR and payroll disciplines and subject matter experts to help create efficiencies with additional or improved automation that will effectively accomplish desired objectives.
  • Diagnoses interface and application issues and/or improves overall function and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoots data inaccuracies, inefficient workflows and data inconsistencies in applications and reports.
  • Provides end-user support, troubleshoots issues and recommends solutions. Monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by the UHS Customer Support Center.
  • Designs complex queries and other reports, as needed. Interfaces with the user community regarding report design and support.
  • Provides documentation as required regarding application configurations, problem solving resolutions, procedures and scripts.
  • Shares experience with other team members. Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL programming.
  • Ability to interpret customer needs into application and operational requirements.
  • Organized and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
  • HTML and JavaScript experience preferred.
  • Experience with Infor/Lawson or other process automation software a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information is mandatory.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel for vendor conferences, career development, and site visits.
