What Youll Do

Cisco's Sales Team in Eastern Europe is leading and driving business outcomes directly solving our Clients business challenges by articulating and demonstrating Cisco's ground breaking solutions and services. We are able to make an impact in the way our customers use next-generation Data Center, Networking and Collaboration solutions. This has a direct impact on our Clients business, their offerings and their customer satisfaction.

The Team is looking for an Account Manager who would be responsible for driving and developing Ciscos Data Center business on Czech and Slovak markets. In this position you will be facilitating the success of Cisco sales team in selling specific Data Center products, services, solutions and technologies. You will be working on qualifying business opportunities. Youll handle people and prioritize opportunities. You will be seen as capable and trusted consultant and mentor to other sales employees and entire sales teams. Your objective will be to improve Ciscos Data Center competency and position on a market.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will use your engagement experience and subject matter expertise to identify & qualify opportunities and close engagements to achieve Data Center product and services bookings targets.
  • You will establish and maintain customer relationships at the executive / business decision maker level.
  • You will develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expert-level knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefit and risk.
  • You will partner closely with Engineers/Architects to align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcome and ensure customer success by orchestrating resources to assist the customer in realizing the full value of their technology investment.
  • You will enhance Cisco's solution portfolio over time, focused around key customer requirements and aligned with Cisco products and solutions.
  • You will provide regular reporting of account engagement progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • You will engage, advise and mentor sales teams on Customer Experience imperatives and business value based consultative selling approaches.

Who You'll Work With

We are looking for a Data Center Account Manager to join our Sales team in Prague to support our fast growing business! In this role you will work very closely with our account, pre-sales and partner teams to support them in explaining, structuring and helping to sell our key Data Center offerings. You will also partner with our Customer Experience, Delivery and various supporting teams.


Who You Are

Should you be interested in this job opportunity, you should come with passion, energy, and tenacity to drive Cisco Data Center business. You should champion strong Business relationships, and be able to navigate through Cisco's cross functional areas effectively. In addition to excellent business insight and sales track of record you should ideally bring Data Center technical competencies and the ability to learn quickly. Knowledge of current technology trends and competitive offerings would also be very beneficial for this role.


You should bring:

  • A several years of overall professional IT sales experience, ideally, combined with a few years of Data Center sales experience.
  • You have strong relationship management skills with a genuine understanding of how to identify build and lead confirmed relationships with multiple key decisions makers within customer.
  • You are comfortable with interacting with key decision makers at the customers (mid management up to high level executive).
  • You are skilled in strategic planning and you come with market and business development (hunting) experience.
  • You have strong communication and listening skills, a thorough approach to complex problem solving and handling metrics. You know how to work with customers to drive, track and communicate customer business outcomes before, during and after the sales process.
  • You come with real passion for driving strategies; a strong personality with proven leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization
  • You come with BS/BA or equivalent university education.
  • You are comfortable with traveling across Czech and Slovak Republics.
  • You are fluent in English and Czech or Slovak languages.
