As a Network Programmability Content Engineer specializing in Data Center & Cloud technologies, you will:


         Design, develop and review learning product content, student exercises and labs


         Function as technical resource to Business Development Managers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and to course and exam development teams


         Craft educational content dedicated to Programmability and Automation of Data Center and Cloud as well as using software development skills to enhance our education and Labs


         Participate in the analysis and design of courses and exams, design and deploy lab topologies, provide equipment lists, review new and existing training content including student guides, student exercises, labs and exams, and provide technical expertise to the development team


         Provide technical support for the development and delivery of a variety of technical education offerings to Cisco customers, partners and employees with a primary focus on Data Center and Cloud Solutions, technologies, software, hardware and applications

Are you pushing the envelope? As a member of Ciscos DevCX Content Development team, youll be working with engineers who design and build technical education that will empower the global technical community in the worlds fastest growing development areas of Network Programmability, Data Center, Cloud and Virtualization. You will be an integral member of an enthusiastic team innovating and driving new technologies and concepts into Ciscos Learning products in these spaces and doing so utilizing new and innovative learning strategies and methods. We are truly adapting our learning products to support the way people learn and at the same time enabling the next generation of Network and Data Engineers.


Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications:


         Passion to learn new things and teach others the new things you have learned


         4+ years of current experience with Cisco Data Center, Cloud products and Automation


         Understanding of networking and Cisco networking and software products


         Multicloud, Hybrid Cloud (public/private)


         Public Cloud Services; AWS, Azure, Google Cloud


         Kubernetes Cluster and Single Node


         DevOps, Agile and understanding of software development methodologies


         Proficiency with Python, Go, PHP, Node, C++, Java, XML, YAML, etc.


         Experience with revision control systems like Git, Subversion, or Mercurial


         Proficiency in using REST and other API interfaces


         Experience with orchestration and automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform


         VMware, ESXCLI (v6.x)


         Linux Administration


         Instructional Design


         Hands-On lab design, development and implementation


         Excellent Written, Communication and Presentation Skills


         Educational content development tools & practices

         UCSD/UCS Manager


         Cisco Data Center Nexus product lines (Nexus 7k & Nexus 9k)


         Cisco DevNet Associate, Cisco DevNet Professional and/or Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist


         Contributed to an Open Source Project or have published personal project on GitHub/GitLab


         Networking experience (i.e. Routing, Switching, Data Center, Cloud, Security, etc.)


         Assessment item authoring


         Cisco and industry certifications (i.e. Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, AWS Cloud Practitioner, VMware VCP, MS Azure Fundamentals, etc.)


         Typically, BA/BS or equivalent and 4+ years related Networking and/or Technical Course Development experience
