Your Role and Responsibilities
The Chief Information Office within IBM is currently looking for a Data Management Specialist with experience working in an agile delivery environment. This technical position will be part of a co-located squad in Research Triangle Park and Global Operations squad. This role is accountable for supporting business and client requirements of a critical application.

This role sits within one of many squads in the Pricing Hardware Tribe, supporting the ePricer application. Expectations include:

Overall Requirements:
  • Data Management activities for settings, visbility and authorization considering all test systems as well as the pre-production and production systems. Including the thorough testing fo the setups including the specific function/component, access, its performance and the regression testing of associated functions.
  • People in this role must demonstrate knowledge of the domain that they are responsible for setting up, management and testing.
  • Knowledge of each geographies unique environment.
  • Familiarlity with visibility/authorization compliance and settings methodologies, tools and agile techniques.
  • The data management specialist will set up environments, design and plan setup and testing activity, develop documentation, manage the funnel and backlog of requirements and/or execute required testing.
  • Investigate problems uncovered during testing, or those which are submitted via the LCM process and recreating those problems as appropriate and executing fix validations.
  • Provide feedback on usability, serviceability and documentation and report status to the appropriate audience.

ePricer Data Management Specialist:
  • Responsible for tracking and implementing approved operations Change Requests for Settings Data changes/visibility/registration.
  • Responsible for testing user registration and visibility setup and consulting on ePricer Vis/Reg.
  • Attend LCM, Operations and New Invesment Backlog and Weekly Change Management meetings.
  • SME for the ePricer Authorization and Settings Modules.
  • Ad Hoc Support for Query Development.
  • Documentation and Education materials preparation.
  • Support UAT regression testing for authorization and settings modules.
  • SME on access registration tools used by Pricing Applications, Registration Database and OneTEAM.
  • Manage SOD and Compliance Materials.
  • Epic, Story and Feature Reviews, for data and testing requirements.
  • SIT/UAT support and participation for multiple testing cycles.
  • Production Readiness, deployment and post deployment support.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • InfrastructureNow (ServiceNow) for Problem and Change Management.
  • SQL Skills for Ad-Hoc Queries.
  • JIRA for requirements and test defect tracking.
  • QMF (IW Ad-Hoc Reports)
  • Box for File Sharing
  • Slack Communication / Collaboration Tool.
  • Demonstrated Agile delivery experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5+ Years of SQL Experience.
  • Experience in Pricing.
