What Youll do

As a Deal Manager, you hold the responsibility for the operational End to End (E2E) deal lifecycle management across all deal types with additional focus and suggested recommendations on streamlining processes. You will have a project management like approach to managing deals following a methodology aligned specifically to the different deal types and requirements. You will work in close partnership with multi-functional resources in order to provide beneficial support on complex Software and Hardware deals. Your support will span all segments of business in the Americas; from US Federal, Public Sector, Global Enterprise and Service Providers. You will be supporting their largest and most complex deals, while also maintaining and demonstrating a ONE Cisco face to our customers and stakeholders.

This requires you to:

  • Connect the dots Be responsible to understand different department and multi-functional teams business requirements and/or processes.
  • Understand and recognize Ciscos different Offer Monetization Models and subsequent offers available to Ciscos customers (hardware and software).
  • Work in close collaboration with Cisco Sales Teams on understanding the business requirements and advise on deal structuring.
  • Manage and execute the tasks required for E2E Lifecycle Deal Management leveraging a project management approach, in collaboration with cross functional teams where appropriate.
  • Proactively communicate potential risks to stakeholders as you move through each stage of the deal lifecycle.
  • Acquire deep knowledge of the complex structure of each Hardware and Software offer supported.
  • Ensure proactive and ongoing communication between internal cross functional teams as well as our external customers and partners.

Who Youll Work With

You will be part of the Customer and Partner Services team (CPS) within Operations and will work closely with your peers in-country, regionally and globally. You will leverage the network of specialists and cross functional teams across in-person and digital channels. With thorough understanding and knowledge of your audience, you will be a business partner of Cisco Customers, Partners, Sales, and Operations Managers.

Who you Are

You demonstrate good analytic skills that allowing you to leverage different data, build reports, and identify business trends. You possess good communication/presentation skills to facilitate regularly scheduled sync up calls with your internal / external stakeholders.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-8 years of Customer Service related experience.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to be anticipatory of stakeholder needs
  • Good communication skills including verbal, written, presentation as well as good interpersonal and soft skills.
  • Profound eye for business to understand and convey complex solutions, while interacting with senior executive level leaders.
  • Developing project management skills or Project Management Experience Preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong Excel skills
